Arrive into Kiev the 1500-year-old capital of Ukraine. Kiev is a city rich in architectural and historical sites and one of the most beautiful capitals of Eastern Europe. Spend the evening exploring Kievss main street of Kreschatyk and Independence Square with its many outdoor cafes & shops.
A tour of golden domed Kiev, the Verhkovna Rada, St. Vladymyrs Cathedral, Kiev Opera, the Golden Gates, famous red University, and Shevchenko Monument. In the Afternoon we visit the Museum of the Famine and Kievv Pecherska Lavra Ukraine’s largest monastery and enter into the famous burial caves.
Our City tour continues with St. Andrews Church, St. Sophia’s a masterpiece of world architecture and arts. Enjoy some free time to shop on the tourist friendly St. Andrew’s descent. In the afternoon we depart for Ternopil. Dinner will enroute.
Arrive in Ternopil late in the evening and check into the Hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel then the morning will be at your leisure. After Lunch at the Hotel we visit the local sites of Ternopil on a city tour. Dinner at the Restaurant museum “Staraya Melnitsa”, (Old Mill) known for its tasty national cuisine and rich folk display. We overnight in Ternopil.
Today we travel to Kamianets Podilskyj a UNESCO Historic Site. Visit the Historic castle of Kamianets Podilsky and fortress of Khotyn. Lunch in Kamianets Podilskyj, Travel in the early evening to Kolomyia.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Today we tour the sites of Kolomyia. Visit the Pysanka Museum and the Ethnographic museum. Lunch and dinner in Kolomyia.
In the Morning we travel to Chernivtsi. Arrive at hour hotel. Tonight enjoy an evening cultural and concert program performed by local artists.
After breakfast at the hotel we depart for the city of Chernivtsi, See the architecturally stunning University with its colorful tiled roof and beautifully carved wood interior and historic city center including the Theater of Lyrics & Drama, Immigration Museum as well as the Olga Kobylanska memorial and the famous walk of stars.
Travel the scenic route to Yaremcha, en-route stop in the ski resort of Bukovel. Ride the ski chair-lift in Bukovel for breath-taking views of the Carpathians. Arrive in Yaremcha in the late afternoon.
A Day to enjoy the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains, visit the famous waterfalls and local artisan Bazaar. Tonight we sample the local hutsul delicacies of shashlyk, banosh & samohonka! Experience local culture, Dance to live Hutsul music.
Breakfast at the hotel and then we travel to the city of Ivano Frankivsk, located in the foothills of the Carpathians. Ivano Frankivsk is unique, due to the elegant baroque style of architecture that enchants its visitors. Lunch in Ivano Frankivsk . Early afternoon enjoy a city tour of Ivano Frankivsk including a tour of the Horilka Factory.
Travel along this scenic route along the Carpathian Mountains and to the Ancient City of Lviv. See the charming towns of Dolyna, Bolekhiv and Strij.. Arrive in Lviv for lunch. Lviv is famous for its unique beauty, monuments, and variety of architectural styles. The central part of Lviv, “The Old Town”, is full of narrow cobbled stone streets, magnificent churches and lovely homes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check in and spend the afternoon sightseeing at the artisan Bazaar and enjoying the panoramic view of Lviv from Vysokyj Zamok.
